Summary:

I have just upgraded my Protection Keys and now have the new half sized Protection keys. When I use these keys I get the error Protection Key Not Found. My system worked fine before.

Solution:

The V3.0 Protection Keys are not compatible with V2.xx or below. You must use the V2.xx Protection Keys for these versions. However V3.0 will work with a V2.xx Protection key.
