Summary:
Question: I am getting the error 271 from the function StrToGrp(). This function works OK for a while then starts to give the out of handles error. 

Solution:
This is a problem with the StrToGrp() function. This function is consuming handles associated with the parsing of the input string. You may work around this problem by using the GrpInsert() function.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 1.0 to 3.01. This problem has been fixed in version 3.02.
