Summary:
There are problems you may encounter when using the Citect time server, the time server is enabled by setting [Time]Server=1 in the Citect.INI file or through CtNode. You would only have the Time Server enabled if you are using a networked Citect system. The problem may show up in different ways. 1. Some functions that have Sleep() may sleep for ever. 2. The time on some nodes may get set to a time that is a few hours out. 3. If you are using sleep on your startup screen, eg. ENTRY COMMAND: Sleep(4);PageGoto("Menu") then you might find that sometimes the system will stay on the Startup page forever. 4. You may also experience problems with trend redundancy, if a trend server is restarted it may have problems with its data files after the redundancy data exchange with the other trend server.

Solution:
Disable the time server by setting the following in your Citect.INI [Time]Server=0 or by using CtNode. This problem has been fixed in version 3.10. When you install version 3.10 you can re-enable the time server.
