Summary:
The error "macro at lex peek" may be reported by the compiler when it encounters some thing that it does not know how to handle, this should not normally happen. If you pass an undefined variable tag to the Pulse() cicode function then the compiler will report this error. 

Solution:
Define the Tag in the Variable Tags database.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 3.00 to 3.01. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
