Summary:
When using ODBC to connect to Oracle SQL servers you will experence a memory leak when connecting to the server. If you constantly connect and dis-connect you will leak memory and may cause the connection to eventualy fail. 

Solution:
Oracle have posted an article on their bug 209055 "Memory leakage problem" They say that this bug has been fixed in release 7.0.16.41 bug fix release dated 23/1/95.
