| Question: I have just upgraded my project from version 2.10 to version 3.0 and now I keep getting overrun errors on my COM port. I am using TIDIRECT protocol and running at 19.2 kBaud to the PLC. What is causing this problem? |

| CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in
Citect for Windows versions 3.0 to 3.01. This problem has been
fixed in version 3.10.
In Citect for Windows version 3.0 and 3.01 Citect will check for the software protection key in a way which can cause you could looses a character on the COM port. You may solve this problem by placing the software protection key in another Server or by upgrading to Citect for Windows version 3.10. See also Q1752. |
