Summary:
When I cut the link for a library object that was pasted linked, all information that I had entered locally into the form fields was lost. 

Solution:
When the link is cut, a copy is made of the original library object. The locally entered information is not being transferred across to this copy.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
