Summary:
I pasted my genie onto a page but wanted to change the form slightly. So I edited the form file. The old form still gets used when I double click the genie instance on the page. Why? 

Solution:
The genie form definition is only read once each time the Graphics Builder is executed. The form definition for a genie will be read a) the first time the genie is opened for editing b) the first time your genie is saved c) the first time a page/library object/template or other genie that uses your genie (either directly or indirectly) is opened for editing or d) the first time your genie is pasted onto a page/library object/template or other genie.

To get the form definition file re-read exit from the Graphics Builder and then run it back up again.
