| The KF serial protocol which supports only
the Allen Bradley SLC500 series of PLC is no longer supported. The
KE protocol have been updated to include support for the AB SLC 500
series. Users can use the KE500 instead of KF by changing the
protocol from "KF" to "KE500" in the protocol field of their IO
Devices form. The KE500 can access floating point and string data
files in the SLC 500. The KE protocol only support half-duplex and
BCC error checking communication setting.
Also the IO device address has changed from decimal for KF to
octal for the KE500 protocol. The custom/express wizard in versions
3.X and 4.X give a contrary indication.
