Summary:
My Citect for DOS system can read data from the PLC however I cannot write to any variable in the PLC. The PLC is a Texas Instruments 545 PLC and I am using the TICVU card to communicate to it. I am getting the hardware error 0x30015. 

Solution:
The error code 0x30015 is a PLC primitive error code 0x15. The TIWAY documentation of this error is "Primitive not allowed while device is in local mode. This means that the NIM has been switched into local mode. In this mode it will service read requests and not service write requests. So check the status of the local mode toggle switch on the NIM module.

On Citect for windows this error code will show up as a driver error ending in 0x15.
