Summary:
During backing up my project I sometimes get an Application Error (GPF). The error seems to happen at the same stage of the backup. Is there a work around for this problem? 

Solution:
On some occasions the compression algorithm we use for Citect backups returns too much information and subsequently causes the GPF trap. We are still investigating the cause of this problem.

A work around is to increase the buffer size that the backup utility uses. This can be done by setting the following in your Citect.ini file.

BufferIO=8192
