Summary:
How do I change the template that my page is based on?

Solution:
If your page is based on a template in the Citect Include project you can copy the template from the Include project into your own project. All pages in your project that are based on this template will be affected.

To copy the original template follow these steps:

  1. Open the template in the Graphics Builder.
  2. Select "Save As" from the File menu.
  3. Save the template with a same name and style but in your project.
  4. Select "Update Pages" from the Tools menu

If your page is not based on a template from the Citect Include project you may choose to replace the original template. Again all pages based on this template will be affected.

To replace the original template:

  1. In the Graphics Builder create a new template.
  2. Select "Save As" from the File menu.
  3. Save this template with the same name, style and project as your original template.
  4. Select "Update Pages" from the Tools menu
  5. When you next open your page it will be based on the new template.

You can make use of this technique if you wish to base your pages on templates of a different resolution. Just make the changes as above, then edit your page and use the "Page Attributes" option from the Tools menu to adjust the size of your page to fit the new template.
