Summary:
Question: I can see my trends okay in real time but when they scroll off the page they disappear, so I can not go back in history to view the trend data. I checked the directory where my data is stored and there are no data files. Why won't Citect create my trend data? 

Solution:
You've probably deleted your trend data files without deleting the .hst files also. Citect will not create the data files if the .hst files already exist. Shutdown Citect and delete the appropriate .hst files. When Citect goes on-line again, it will recreate the data and .hst files.
