Summary:
The MODBUS driver by default supports Long data types using the format described in KB article Q1716. (Specifically, Modbus longs are 10000 * low register + high register). This format is not suitable for some installations which use the standard format as follows: longs are low register * 65536 + high register.

How do I use this format.

 

Solution:
The MODBUS driver now has a Citect.ini option to enable this format:

[MODBUS]
LongDataType=1
