Summary:
On my alarms page, I have the alarm format configured to display the time, date, name, and description with an alarm category. If I don't acknowledge the alarm and a new alarm comes in that has a shorter name or description, I get trailing characters from the previous alarm on the new alarm entry also. This only happens on the Alarm Fonts that I defined, it does not occur on the Citect default fonts. How can I prevent this with my fonts? 

Solution:
In your Alarm Fonts definitions, be sure the background color on the font is defined as transparent (blank or -1). Trailing characters will occur if you have a background color defined other than transparent.
