Summary: |
When using a Citect font which has a
TrueType Font Type and a BOLD attribute (e.g. Arial,B), text
displayed using the Citect font looks different from text displayed
using the equivalent system font.
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.4/4.2 and 5.0. This problem has been fixed in version 3.4/4.2 Service Pack F, and will be fixed in a future release of Citect. |
Solution: |
Set the parameter [ANIMATOR]BoldWeight to
700. See "Parameters: animator" - BoldWeight in Citect help for
instructions on how to set this parameter. Alternatively, add the
BoldWeight=700 entry to the [ANIMATOR] section of the Citect INI
file as follows:
[ANIMATOR] This parameter is used to determine the weight of a bold TrueType Citect font. The default for this parameter is 600 which results in bold fonts having a different bold weight to the equivalent system font. Notes: This problem is only evident for TrueType fonts. |
