Summary:
If a database file is accessed by multiple users, you may get a "dBASE record locked by another user" error message (code 316) in Citect when calling the DevFind Cicode function. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.4/4.2 and 5.0. This problem is fixed in Citect for Windows versions 5.01.

The [GENERAL]LockRetry and [GENERAL]LockDelay parameters allow Citect to try again after a locked record failure is encountered.
