Summary:
I am trying to use the CTApi function ctPointRead. It always returns FALSE even though it has completed correctly as the value return is correct. Also the last error returned by GetLastError() is always bad. 

Solution:
CTApi function will incorrectly return a fail when it actually works and the last error returned by GetLastError() will be a bad error value.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00. This problem has been fixed in version 5.00 Service Pack A.
