I have a Citect Server running but some Clients can not login. The existing cilents can still communicate to this server however no new clients can attach. If I restart on of the clients which is communication OK to the server it will not be able to re-connect to the server. This error only happens after a long period of time and may be up to several weeks. If I restart the Citect Server then the clients can log in. 

There is a problem when under certain conditions when a server will reach a state whereby it will fail to listen for new client connections. This will mean that new clients will not be able to connect until the server is restarted.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows Versions 4.00 4.10 4.20 5.00. This problem has been fixed in versions 4.20 Service Pack G and 5.00 Service Pack A.
