Summary:
Citect seems to have an unrelaible connection to my Mitsubishi PLC. The PLC uses the AJ71E71 Ethernet module. The symptoms are that after disconnection, the Citect will never regain communications. What could be wrong? 

Solution:
It has been reported by Mitsubishi that there were problems with early versions of the AJ71E71 firmware which stop Citect from re-establishing a connection. You should ensure that you have at least the firmware version AE (where A = hardware, E = Firmware version) for the AJ71E71 module.
