Summary:
The SAIA PCD2, PCD4 and PCD6 PLCs use the SBUS protocol. This protocol can use two different transmission methods. What one does Citect use and can I change this?

Solution:
The SBUS protocol uses either 1) a Parity changing method or 2) a Break method of transmission.

The Citect SBUS driver uses as default the parity changing method. However, you can change the driver to use the break method by using the following Citect INI option:

[SBUS]
SendBreak=11

Omission of the parameter or setting it to 0 will result in using the Parity changing method.
