Summary:
I am using ctPointRead and ctPointWrite and I am finding that the range of addresses that I can read at once is limited to 256 bits. After that I get an error when calling either CTAPI function. I know the protocol I am using can read more of that in one block. What is wrong? 

Solution:
There is a bug in Citect that if the CTAPI functions ctPointRead and ctPointWrite are used on a display client then the address range is limited to 256 bits. This should be 256 bytes (or the limit of the protocol being used).

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00 Service Pack B. This problem has been fixed in version 5.00 Service Pack C.
