Summary:

When using the express wizard to set up communications to the Matsushita FP range of PLCs (using the MEWTOCOL driver), the express wizard sets parity to ODD or NONE. It should set the parity to ODD_P.

Solution:

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 4.20 to 5.00. This problem has been fixed in version 5.01. For users of Citect versions 4.20 to 5.00, the setting for parity should be altered manually after using the express wizard in the IO Devices form to ODD_P.
