Summary:
When I run my Citect project I get an error dialog with the following text "WinRT: Open Service: Error 'The specified service does not exist as an installed service.". What does this error mean?

Solution:
Under NT the driver uses the WINRT.SYS device driver to talk to the card. However the WINRT.SYS driver is not installed automatically until you try and initialize the card the first time. When you do this Citect (or WinRT) tells you it cannot find the Service (not device driver - slightly misleading terminology) and then can't load the rest of the drivers. At this stage Citect installs the WinRT Device Driver. However now you must reboot NT for this driver to be active. Once NT is rebooted it then loads the info for the WinRT device driver and Citect should start it up OK.
