Summary:
If an I/O server looses communication to a standby I/O device then no hardware error are displayed on the Citect Clients. Also if a primary I/O Device goes offline and the Client is not requesting any I/O Data from that device then no hardware error is generated. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows version 5.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
