Summary:
If a symbol is pasted into a genie or supergenie of the same name and both libraries are the same name an error occurs when the genie is saved with the message:

"ERROR Attempt to save page with link to itself."

 

Solution:
The workaround for this problem is to use a different name for the two libraries.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.4/4.2 to 5.00. This problem has been fixed in version 3.4/4.2 Service Pack J, 5.00 Service Pack D and Version 5.01.
