Summary:
If you have a long trend sample period (say 1/2 hour) then various problems may happen when displaying the trend. These can vary from crashes to having errors displaying problems with the Trend or Tran system. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00. This problem has been fixed in version 5.00 Service Pack D. The fix needs to be applied to both Trend Servers and Clients.
