Summary: |
When I use the CCM305 protocol to communicate to a Koyo DL305 as online help suggests, I get solid communications with no errors. When I try to load values to a data register (eg 406), the values end up in a different register (eg R406 --> R706). If I try to address R706 directly, the project compiles but I get a COM error at run-time. Finally, I have NO contact with ANY I/Opoints. I can neither read input points (eg. 00) nor write output points (eg. - on my system - 70). |
Solution: |
The CCM325 protocol should be used instead of the CCM305 protocol. Refer to the online help for the DL305 - Serial Data Types. When addressing registers, don't preceed the register with an R. |
