Summary:
The NT drivers which are required for the software license key utility on NT machines are automatically started as an NT service, and are not un-installed. If you have changed from a Software protection key to a hardware protection key, or have un-installed Citect on an NT machine after installing the NT drivers, you will have to manually stop the NT service.

Note: This is only a consideration for users with software license keys on NT, not hardware dongles.

Solution:
From the Control Panel, select "Services". Move through the list and select "CrypKey License". Press the "Startup' button and choose "Disabled" from the displayed form. The NT Drivers will now be disabled and will not be started automatically. If you re-install Citect or require the NT Drivers again, you will need to re-enable them from the Services form.
