Summary:
I have an Allen-Bradley 1784-KTX or 1784-KTXD card and I wish to use Citect concurrently with Allen-Bradley's Windows-based PLC programming software. Is this possible and how? 

Solution:
For concurrent Citect communications and PLC programming capability with RS Logix, you must use Citect's ABKT driver and Allen-Bradley's RSLinx software. Citect's ABTCP/CIKT driver combination cannot be used for concurrent communications.

Please note: Allen-Bradley's RS Logix 5 and RS Logix 500 are normally shipped with RSLinx Lite. This must be upgraded to RSLinx OEM for use with Citect, as RSLinx Lite is a product for exclusive use with Allen-Bradley products, and is not supported by Citect.
