Summary:
The following problems have been found with the CTAPI functions:
  1. The functions ctPointWrite and ctPointRead won't operate correctly with tags of type BYTE.
  2. The functions ctPointWrite, ctPointRead, ctTagRead and ctTagWrite won't operate correctly with tags of type UNSIGNED.
  3. The functions ctTagRead would return incorrect data when used with tags of type BCD.  

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.00. This problem has been fixed in version 5.01
