Summary:
If you define keyboard input commands for a trend object that log to a log device the log messages are not logged when those commands are executed.  

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.0 to 5.01. This problem has been fixed in version 5.10.
