Summary:
When you change any of the alarms database other than simply appending alarms at the end of the database, the alarm save file becomes invalid. You should delete it before restarting the project. If you fail to delete it then using AlarmDelete() Cicode function may cause Citect to crash. Other unexpected effects may also occur. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed the AlarmDelete() crash to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.01. This problem has been fixed in version 5.10.
