Summary:
A problem was reported with redundancy with KINGFISH driver. The setup was as follows:

Two IO Servers were defined for redundancy. They were both connected to the same Master RTU (via separate com ports on the RTU).

The primary IO Server had one logical device setup as the primary device. The backup IO Server had one logical device defined as the standby.

When the primary server fails the backup server makes read requests regularly, and status requests each Watchtime, to the same physical device. Currently the cache is emptied upon a status response. The regular emptying of the cache in the situation described above causes regular occurrences of the "data not ready error".

 

Solution:
This problem has been fixed in version 1.00b5 of the driver.
