  • CitectSCADA 3.xx, 4.xx, 5.00, 5.01, 5.10

Summary:
If you use a void function (one with no return type) as the expression for Bars (V3.xx/V4.xx) or Scaling, Movement or Fill Level (V5.xx) then the compiler will not generate an error and corruption may occur at runtime. This may lead to Citect crashing.

Solution:
The compiler has been modified so that it will generate an "Incompatible types" error message in this situation.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions to 5.10. This problem has been fixed in version 5.10 Service Pack A.
