Summary:
If you frequently change the period on a trend page or are frequently entering and leaving trend pages and also using the TrnInfo() Cicode function at the same time, then after a period of time the trend client may crash. This will not happen when viewing trends on the Trends Server. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.XX to 5.XX. This problem has been fixed in versions 3.40/4.20 Service Pack K and 5.10 Service Pack A.
