Summary:
Text or symbols on a button do not clip to the extent of the button, and the cursor size will be the size of the symbol or text. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.01 to 5.10 Service Pack A. This problem has been fixed in version 5.10 Service Pack B.
