Summary:
The problem occurs in the following situation. Multiple printers are configured under Windows NT in the Control Panel using the same port (e.g. LPT1:). One of the printers is the default Windows printer. A printer device is configured in the Devices form of Citect to use that port (e.g. the filename field is set to LPT1:). When the printer device is used, for instance to print a report, the report is garbled because the default printer is not being used. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows. This problem has been fixed in version 5.20 Service Pack A.
