Summary:
I am trying to communicate to a Yokogawa Micro XL but I get the following error on startup:

YOKOGAWA ini file error.
Cannot find [YOK_RBE] descriptor. Check citect.ini and/or the ini file.

 

Solution:
The Yokagawa driver yok_uxls.dll, shipped with Citect v5.00, v5.01 and v5.10, is not correct. The solution is to use the driver from the CIT website (http://www.citect.com/driverweb) or v5.20.
