Summary:
On startup, I get a message in the Main window of the Kernel:

Cannot open IPC error mode 16

 

Solution:
This is because the CTAPI now tries to use TCP sockets instead of Named Pipes. If you do not have TCP/IP loaded on your computer you will get this message. To stop it set the following parameter in your CITECT.INI file.
