Summary:
When a tab or vertical tab is used in text (e.g. in the alarm format in Alarm Catagories), and there is no text after the tab character, the cursor will appear below the text with the correct width, but no height. 

Solution:
CiT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.10. This problem has been fixed in version 5.10 Service Pack B.
