If PSC driver does not have TCP/IP Port Number specified in the communication's Port Form, the driver won't initiate properly. The diver is lacking diagnostics for this kind of situation. |
Solution: |
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in PSC driver versions prior 2.02. The problem is caused by the fact that there is no default TCP/IP port number for the device. An error message box will popup if port number is missing or 0 such that the user is informed how to fix the problem by editing the Citect Communication | Port Form. This functionality has been implemented in PSC driver version 2.02. |
