Summary:
The incorrect error:

Cannot write to <filename>. Version mismatch [4 instead of 6].

may occur when upgrading projects from earlier versions. The number 4 may differ depending on which version you are upgrading from. Also the versions reported are graphic file versions and do not necessarily match the Citect version.

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 5.20. This problem has been fixed in version 5.20 Service Pack B.
