Summary:
I have to install my Zip drive on my first parallel port. The zip drive does not work connected through the Sentinel Protection key. I have put the key on my second parallel port but Citect does not recognise it. How can I get this to work?

Solution:
In order to use the protection key on a different parallel port, you need to edit the Sentinel driver settings.

For Windows NT 4.0, you need to use Control Panel. Choose the Multimedia application then select the Devices tab. The Sentinel driver will be located under Other Multimedia Devices. Select the driver then click the Properties button. Click on Settings to add or configure the ports.

For Windows 95, you need to run an application supplied by Rainbow, the key manufacturer. This is Sentw95.exe and should be installed in Drive:\Windows\System\Rnbosent folder. This provides the functions to add and configure your ports.

Please note that this information is true for current versions of the Sentinel driver including version 5.37. It may be subject to change with newer releases.
