Summary:
Can Citect communicate to GE Fanuc PLCs using their Ethernet Global Data protocol? 

Solution:
Citect cannot communicate using the Ethernet Global Data (EGD) protocol.

However, GE Fanuc has indicated that both the existing protocol and the new EGD protocol can be used simultaneously. Therefore, Citect can use the existing protocol while inter-PLC communications can use the EGD protocol.
