Summary:
The compiler does not work properly if a variable tag or a label is added.

When a new tag is added, the status on the Citect Editor is changed from compiled to uncompiled. However, incremental compile will report nothing to compile. If the user choose not to recompile, the status of Citect Editor will change from uncompiled to compiled automatically. This is not correct, since Variable tags and Labels are master dependencies, which should be fully recompiled whenever modified.

 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.XX to 5.XX. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21.
