Summary:
I am upgrading an old Citect project (pre V3.21) to the latest version.  When Citect starts to upgrade the pages within the project I get a popup box with the error 'Function not Supported' then Citect terminates the upgrade process.  The error message does not specify any function names or pages, what could be causing this?

Solution:
In Citect versions prior to V3.21 you were able to save Citect symbols with a name that had a numeric as the first character in the name.  Citect no longer supports this.  To overcome the problem:

1. Open the project using the version in which it was developed.

2. Rename the symbols so that they start with an alphabetic character.

3. Edit the DBF files that reference the symbols (pgsym.dbf & pgansym.dbf) and replace the old symbol names with the new ones.

Once this has been done you can then back up the project & restore it into the new Version of Citect ready to be upgraded.
