Summary:
I'm setting up communications to an Allen Bradley PLC via a KT card under Citect V4.20 Spk L.  I have gone through and double checked all the configuration of the KT board & Citect, the configuration looks fine but on starting Citect I get a '0x22 error on opening port' error message and citect will not talk to the PLC. 

Solution:
Citect Service Pack D contained an updated ABTCP driver, this was also included in future service packs, except Service Pack L.  If you install Citect V4.20 then install Service Pack L you will not get the updated ABTCP driver.  For an updated version of the driver, install either Service Pack D, E or F then Service Pack L.  By doing this you will get the updated driver plus all the NCR fixes included in Spk L.
