Summary:
When using alarm properties, eg. <alarm tag>.On, a compile error occurs if the alarm tag is the full 16 characters. 

Solution:
CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.40 / 4.20 to 5.20. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21.
