Summary:
Running Update Pages does not automatically update the modified template properties on linked pages.  It should update any linked pages by modifying the Size, background colour or keyboard commands in the template properties.  

Solution:
A new parameter [Animator]TemplateUpdate has been created.  Having the parameter value set to 1 in the citect.ini file will update the modified template properties on linked pages.  Therefore, overriding size and colour of a page will not be possible when the page is linked to a template.  On the other hand, having the parameter value set to 0, which is the default, will behave exactly like before.

CIT has confirmed this to be a problem in Citect for Windows versions 3.XX to 5.21. This problem has been fixed in version 5.21 Service Pack A.
